Daoist Books
The following books have been written by Professor Jerry Alan Johnson, and contain translated texts and secret esoteric teachings from the Shang Qing, Tian Shi, Ling Bao, Bai Ji, and Long Men systems of Daoist Magic. Each of these workbooks include many hidden practices, traditionally used by powerful priests in ancient Daoist sorcery.
This information was originally gathered for Professor Johnson’s personal use and kept within the confines of his private library. Although this information has been jealously guarded for centuries, the purpose for privately gathering this knowledge was to ensure that the true methods of esoteric Daoist Magic never fell into the wrong hands. However, as the PRC's Ministry of Religion continues to focus their attention on mass marketing of ancient Daoist temples in order to enhance the financial potential of religious tourism, the true art of Daoist mysticism has fallen into the trap of Western commercialization. Therefore, in order to assist the serious disciple in his or her spiritual growth, these ancient esoteric teachings are now being made available to the public. The following list of "workbooks" are used in all of Professor Johnson's Daoist Magic classes, taught at the Tian Yun Gong (Temple of the Celestial Cloud), located in Monterey California.
Similar in construction and format to his "Chinese Medical Qigong Therapy" textbooks, the following "Daoist Magic" workbooks are written for the sole purpose of teaching the serious minded closed-door disciple. An explanation of their esoteric context is described as follows:
